Winter
Park, Colorado –
Truly a winter wonderland of beauty portraying
the authentic Colorado experience with 30+ feet of snowfall annually.
There is something for everybody from the expert,
intermediate, or beginner skier or snowboarder, to the shopaholics, for
someone who just wants to kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful
surroundings and atmosphere or all the above and more. Nestled against
the western slope of the Continental Divide, just 70 miles west of
Denver, Winter Park incorporates everyone’s life style to ensure you
have a memorable vacation. This is what's in store for club members of the
TSC this Thanksgiving in Winter Park.
A
multi-million dollar project
has made many improvements to Winter park. Among
the additions are new chairlifts, restaurants, renovations, a five acre
addition dedicated to
beginners, three new terrain parks, enhanced terrain for tree skiing and
new intermediate trails. The Panoramic Express, North America’s highest
high speed six person chairlift, offers fast access to over 1,123 acres
in Vasquez
Cirque,
Parsenn
Bowl and Eagle Bowl of the 3,078 total skiable acres.
This is the fourth year for the
TSC to promote the TSC Youth Foundation. The Foundation is an ongoing
program to encourage children 4 -15 to participate in the fun sports of
skiing and snowboarding.
This year Winter Park Resorts is providing substantially
discounted group lesson pricing to make the Foundation's Youth Camp
extremely affordable.
The success of the camps has grown from 33
participants in 2005 to over 80 in 2007.
There
will be activities planned the entire trip to keep the kids having the
time of their lives. For example, on Kids Night Out there will
be a WII Guitar Hero contest.
If
you want to introduce the sport of skiing or snowboarding to your
family, now is your opportunity at these fantastic savings.
In addition to the Youth Camp pricing, you will also find
affordable ski/snowboard group lessons for other family members.
Come join us at Winter Park for a memorable
Thanksgiving.
