The Texas Ski Council is returning to Snowmass for the BIGGEST trip of the
2011-2012 ski season. Snowmass is a former ranching community turned
destination resort. About 400 members of Texas ski clubs will attend this
trip. To sign up, contact a participating ski club in your area.
 Snowmass
Ski Area boasts 3,132 acres of skiing and offers runs for every ability.
$50 million in on-mountain improvements include Snowmass' new six pack
high speed chair, the Village Express, that runs from the bottom of the
Fanny Hill to the top of Sam's Knob in 9.6 minutes.

The
new Snowmass Gondola has eight-person cabs that run from the base of Fanny
Hill to the base of Elk Camp in 8.5 minutes. With great skiing on
quadruple peaks - SNOWMASS, ASPEN MOUNTAIN, ASPEN HIGHLANDS, and
BUTTERMILK - Aspen/Snowmass goes off by a Power of Four.
Snowmass
Village includes great lodging options and most of them are ski-in/ski-out
properties. The new Snowmass Base area is near completion offering a
number of restaurants and night clubs. This is in addition to the existing
Snowmass Village Mall which has about 20 restaurants and over 20 shops.

Getting around will be easy during our stay. Free shuttles are available
around Snowmass Village. There is also free shuttle service to the town of
Aspen and the other three ski areas.
