At Heavenly Mountain Resort, skiers and snowboarders alike are
thrilled with varied terrain that spans the California-Nevada
border and includes rolling glades, terrain parks and challenging
technical steeps. Whether
a beginner or an expert, a Lake Tahoe ski vacation

runs, back-country-like terrain, tree runs and exciting terrain

Who likes getting around town easily?
Heavenly has an
extensive complimentary skier shuttle service. The shuttle leaves
every
15 minutes from all major casinos and hotels to either the
California Lodge, Nevada
lodges, or to the Heavenly Gondola.
On race day/banquet
night extra shuttles will be added to the
pickup schedule.

Who likes a quick trip from the airport?
The location of Heavenly Mountain Resort is extremely convenient
and affordable for travelers.
It’s within an hour of the Reno-Tahoe International
Airport, and 2 hours of the Sacramento International Airport.
Traveling by car is easy as well since Heavenly ski resort is
located off 3 major US Highways and interstates that are open year
round.

That’s right……………one lift ticket-two mountains! Vail Resorts added
Northstar to their portfolio of resorts and the good news is it’s
is a short 50 min ride from Heavenly!
We will have several daily opportunities to go as a group
to Northstar.
Don’t miss the opportunity to take advantage of the complimentary
lessons for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders on
weekday afternoons.

Optional Northstar Days
Cross-Country and snowshoeing
The Lake Tahoe region may
have the greatest concentration of large cross-country ski areas
in the U.S., with more than 800 km. of groomed trails. Most of
that is on the north end of the lake, but South Shore has a good
network of trails, too. Most also allow snowshoes.
Heavenly's Adventure Peak (775-586-7000) at the
top of the gondola includes a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing
center. You'll find 5 km. of groomed trails that meander through
the forest and provide awesome views from nearly 3,000 feet above
Lake Tahoe

Wine and Harvest Tour
- This is a narrated tour to the historic
Gold Rush region of El Dorado County (50 miles) visit up to four
picturesque family farms known for making vibrant, full bodied,
and award winning wines crafted from grapes grown in the rich
beauty of the Sierra Nevada. Boa Vista orchards offers home baked
goods, ciders, mountain grown seasonal fruits, and preserves.

Virginia City Tour -
Step back in time on this narrated tour following the Pony Express
Trail through Genoa (Nevada’s oldest settlement), CARSON CITY and
America’s largest historic landmark ,Virginia City - the Comstock
Lode. Place, where Mark Twain roamed the streets and everybody
wanted a piece of the "Richest Place on Earth."
Upon arrival to Virginia
City you’ll have 3 hours to shop, visit mansions, museums, go to a
real mine and have a free drink at the famous Delta Saloon est.
